A well-built feline crept silently out of the camp walls, traveling swiftly toward the slightly marshy area they called Ravenplace. He intended to bring something back to help his small clan survive this season. They weren't an old clan with such familiar boundaries as the others, but he had been here since he was a young apprentice as knew the land as well as any other clan would know theirs. Silvery optics set forward and audits pricked the male sunk into a hunters position and crept forward the moment he saw the vole in front of him. It wasn't far now, he shook his hinds and his velveteen cordial snaked through the air preparing for the leap.

A small cat stood by the entrance of his camp, the scent of another cat drifted by his nose. Bubblepaw wondered if he should go anywhere without his sister, but he and been wanting to get out of camp. The black and white cat fallowed the other cat's scent into the woods of there small territory. Bubblepaw could smell the scent of vole, he must be hunting, Bubblepaw thought. Bubblepaw stood still not wanting to wreck the older cat's hunt.

For a moment TawnyBlaze was almost distracted when the scent of another cat met his scentglands, but he was too concentrated on the vole to actually aknowledge the other cat at the moment. His backpillars bunched and then pushed him forward with great force, clearing the distance between himself and the vole easily the tom landed directly on it and ended its life quickly. With the vole in his jaws he turned to figure out who the other feline scent belonged to, but he could no longer smell him due to the strong scent of vole clogging his scent glands. His icey hued optics scanned the marshy brush for any signs of another cat.

The small black and white cat could smell the cat and vole scent mixed together, he must of caught it, Bubblepaw thought. Now that the cat's short hunt was over he felt now harm in stepping out of the shadows. The small tom stepped from the shadows of a tall pine and walked toward the other tom. "Nice catch," Bubblepaw mewed.

Upon seeing the small tom step forwards Tawnyblaze dropped his catch gently onto the ground. He let the slight breeze ruffling his fur bring the scent of the other cat to him, he recodnized the apprentice's scent and thought he may have seen him around camp. His broad skull would nod to the contrasting pelted cat, "Thanks," his cranium tilted showing him somewhat curious, "What're you doing out of camp without your mentor?" It wasn't a demanding question more like a confused one due to the fact most appreantices were either on patrol or training while out of camp.

Bubblepaw scuffed his paws on the ground, his cat did know him very well, any cat that knew him would be asking where his sister was. Bubblepaw would have asked Tulippaw to come of course, but she was most likely of with their mentor training. Bubblepaw knew his sister really wanted to become a warrior, and that she couldn't always watch over him. "My mentor is with my sister I think," he meowed to the older cat, "Tulippaw and I have the same mentor." Bubblepaw knew that his sister was drifting father away from him as she got to be better and better at being a warrior. Bubblepaw had gotten use to his sister's absence, but he still missed her. She was the only one who seemed to accept him.

The large tom watched the apprentice scuffle his paws and lsitened carefully to his speech. His gaze became thoughtful and after a moment he spoke, "Normally there is only one apprentice per mentor," a kind smile played across his maw, "So, my guess is that you are either particularly attached to your sister or the leader just wants your mentor to have a hard time." His kind smile was also playful for he knew having two young apprentices wuold be a handful, "But shouldn't you be with them as well?"

Bubblepaw's ears twitched, he always felt weird when cats watched him. "Well um...my sister and I um...I guess you could say we have a special connection," Bubblepaw meowed to the tom, "but it seems like it's breaking," he whispered to himself. Bubblepaw turned his head toward the other cat, "Tulippaw, my sister, would rather train by herself. It's easier for her that way," Bubblepaw meowed sadly.

Tawnypaw's gaze rested on the tom as he spoke and as he spoke that gaze turned sympathetic, "Things like that are tough," he gave Bubblepaw a small understanding smile, "You're young and just begining to deiscover who you are and where your place in the clan is. Yes, you will both be warriors some day, but what kind of warrior you want to be is never and easy thing to decide." Tawnyblaze being the only one of his mother's kits to survive her rage was accustomed to trying to find where he belonged and he had finally found his place in the clan though it had been a long and difficult struggle to get where he was now.

Bubblepaw shook his head, his eyes looked out into space, "You don't understand," Bubblepaw meowed. His tail twitched, and his ears flatten down against his head. "I will never belong," his voice was filled with sorrow as the words left his mouth. "I guess a do a better job at hiding it than I thought," Bubblepaw meowed to himself a little to loud.

Tawnyblaze let slip a small chuckled after the small tom spoke, "You so remind me of myself when I first came into the clan," he sighed thinking of his first time seeing the territory,"I thought I would never belong here, I felt I would never fit in. You see, I was not born of TwilightClan parents, nor was I born of any other clan. No, my mother was a rouge and for a while my clan mates rejected me, thinking I was too small and weak to become a good member of the clan."He didn't know whether he could show this tom how everyone who is in the clan has a future, even those outside of the clan had their own path to walk and their own journey to make, they just needed their courage and faith in StarClan to help guide them through. A shoulder to lean on and one who would listen couldn't hurt either though he had not had any of these things when he came, he had only painful memories and a scarred mind but with the guidance of a certain clan cat he had made it through well enough.

Bubblepaw sighed, this cat had know idea about Bubblepaw's situation. "I don't have the problem of fitting in, my father was the first "leader" of Twilightclan! I'm different from you, and my sister, and every other cat in this clan, probably the whole forest! Don't you know what I am?" Bubblepaw paused for a moment, "I thought the whole clan knew."

Tawnypaw never had a problem with hiding his emotions he actaully preffered to show them. Right now was the same as anytime and he freely let his confusion show, "What makes you so unable to realte to any other cat in the clan?" his question again wasn't a harsh one he was just curious as to why this tom felt how did about being different.

Bubblepaw sigh, maybe a little to dramatic this time. He cast his glance where the cat's scent was coming from. "I'm blind! I was born blind, I haven't seen one glimpse of the world, only darkness, an eternal night. Tulippaw I thought she understood, but she has just gotten so caught up in her training she doesn't have time for her little blind brother anymore. That's what makes me different," Bubblepaw meowed.

The bulky tom sighed dissapointed in himself for not noticing, "You shouldn't let being blind stop you from being a warrior," he shook his cream wrapped skull, "Cats who lose one of thier senses have thier others hightened and you could use this to your advantage." The tom's features adopted a sly compusure and he grabbed the vole in his jaws, but hesitated for a moment. Then deciding it might be for the better he tossed it towards the apprentice so it might just graze his side. If the apprentice was paying attention he would probably hear the wind against the vole's fur and scent it coming closer to him, but if he didn't Tawnyblaze hadn't tossed it hard and it would only graze his side gently.
