Scriptpaw's eyes widened, taken aback by his fierce dislike for Nightpaw, "He can't be all that bad, I mean, when could he ever sneak out to give rouges information on the clan? Apprentices are always being watched either by their mentors or other warriors." Her shoulders hunched and her mottled ears pinned back against her silky skull, "Was he really brought here by loners?" Her head lowered and she glanced around as if hoping Nightpaw or any other cats would not overhear them, but in her bright optics there was a small glimmer of thrilled fascination.

"Well.... it is sort of like that." He had left out a few parts. He didn't want to say that Nightpaw's parent's died. Grovepaw's tail flicked uneasily. Does that make me look bad? He shook of the thought and spat angrily. "I just don't think he is very trust worthy... Besides he just went out on his own... again." He growled.

Scriptpaw still had that same glimmer in her light optics, "I haven't known him for very long but he does seem to do that alot." Her mottled tail flicked around her paws gently coming to rest ontop of them almost a complete contrast to the unitoned porclien that sheathed those thornsharp claws. "Perhaps he just needs someone he can trust and talk to...which he doesn't seem to keen on either." Scriptpaw really shouldn't be saying another cat was not keen on talking to others when she normally remained silent, but for some reason she had spoken more today then she normally would have in days.

Grovepaw looked at Scriptpaw. "You sure are talking alot today." He meowed. She never usually talked this much and he knew it. He flicked his tail nervously. "Maybe he would talk to you..." He didn't want to suggest that he should talk to Marblepaw. Nightpaw was too untroustworthy for Grovepaw to talk to Marblepaw which he seems to like alot. He looked at her, "He should have been back from hunting by now..." He trailed off.

Scriptpaw's expersion changed slowly from guilt to doubt, "I don't think he would talk to me at all...we have nothing much in common," she trailed off shuffling her paws slightly, "He should have been back by now and I guess everyone deserves to be helped or even having someone try to help them." Her blue gaze drifted to the camp entrance, though the dark tom had been moody she felt they had similarities no matter how small and she somehow felt the need to speak with him because they might understand one or two things about each other that others might not.

"You to get stuck with each other alot. Like when you take care of the elders or hunt." He flicked his tail thoughtfully. "Hey, you two might even become warriors together." He meowed slowly as if he was picturing. Grovepaw flicked his ears. He whondered if he was right about them becoming warriors together.

Scriptpaw nodded slowly, her expression thoughtful, "That much is true, maybe I should try to talk to him. I mean, he at least deserves a try and needs to know there is someone he can talk to if he ever needs to." Her whiskers twitched, "I wonder if we will become warriors together if we continue at this rate because we get stuck doing the same things alot." Speaking of Nightpaw, shouldn't he be back from hunting by now? Maybe he just needed to be alone for a while or a warrior caught up with him and they were hunting together.

He snickered at the ironic thought he had. "You to don't talk much at all, but today we sure are talking about him alot. I am surprised I am not being as aggressive." He growled at himself. Why am I not talking badly about him? I guess I can forgive him somewhat... Or maybe it is Scriptheart who has changed my mind... Sort of. He couldn't suppress a hiss of dislike.

Scriptpaw's words were a bit quieter then they had been eariler, "I don't know why but I've been talking so much more today than usual and it feels...strange, but maybe a bit,..good?" She shook her head as if trying to clear her thoughts, "I don't know if that makes any sense, but it's true. Perhaps it's just a subject we felt we needed to discuss?" She was puzzled at her own strange behavior and the fact that Grovepaw seemed to be more docile then he normaly was when speaking of or even being near Nightpaw, "I guess we're both acting out of the ordinary today."

He re-thought about his earlier thought. No it wasn't Scriptpaw... What was it then...? He sniffed thea air curiously. "It's nothing in the air..." He flicked his ears.Of course not you idiot! He looked at her and finally shared his thoughts. "I thought talking to you changed my behavior. I changed my mind though." It was only because he refused to believe he was influenced by another cat.

Scriptpaw subconciously sniffed the air as well and then watched his expression change a bit, "I don't think I could really change another cat's mind...even if I really wanted to." Her velveteens were soft, she didn't think she could really change his mind and she wasn't sure if influencing another cat was a good thing. If grovepaw and Nightpaw got along finally she thought it would be something worth while, but she didn't want to try to change either of them.

"Thats why i smelled the air. I knew that it couldn't possibly be you. I usually wouldn't let another cat pressure me into being nice to Nightpaw" Unless it was Marblepaw... He flicked his tail. "I don't think I can say anything really bad behind his back right now... I have tried..." He could feel a weird tingle through his body. Why am I being so nice to him lately??

Scriptpaw seemed surprised by his reply, "I wouldn't try to pressure you into being nice to him, I don't like to pressure anyone at all." The small femme seemed a bit dispirited by the fact it sounded like he thought she was trying to pressure him into liking Nightpaw. Though she knew Grovepaw disliked Nightpaw she still felt a likeness for him and felt she wanted to know him better if it was possible. It did seem strange that Grovepaw hated Nightpaw so much but couldn't say anything against him behind his back. "Why is that, do you think?" Her expression became a mix of thoughtful confusion, confused because it didn't seem to make any sense that he would not be able to talk behind Nightpaw's back, she was glad of it though because she had a strong dislike for hearing bad things about the cats she had taken a liking too.

"I guess it is because I am thinking of Marblepaw..." His tail flicked. He wasa thinking of Marblepaw. He was imagining her catching a mouse or a rabbit and them sharing it. His stomach let out a loud growl. "Ooops" He meowed embarassed. "I whonder where she is..." He meowed.

Scriptpaw nodded, "I understand," The sound of his rumbling stomach seemed to embarass him and she smiled kindly. "Perhaps she's out hunting!," there was a small purr of laugher from the small femme, "Maybe you should join her." She was reffering to the grumble of protest his stomach had given.
