NightPaw slowly open his eyes and put his head high so he could see the leader. He didn't really like taking orders from BurnStar but what do you expect from someone who was born from a rouge family and a loner took him into WindClan? Well you don't really expect much at that would you? Oh well. NightPaw sighed and got up on his four legs, starting to move toward entrence/exit of den. Now to tend the elders. Oh what fun... He thought to himself. [/blockquote][/color]

Scriptpaw closed her blue optics completely and seriously thought that maybe if she just acted as though she were asleep she might be passed over. The thought quickly left her mind, she knew that Burnstar would wake her and she wold only make him cross by ignoring him. The dappled tail that had been laying across her nose slowly uncurled and the she-cay stretched out as if this would take up more time so she wouldn't have to go look after the elders. Suddenly a wave of guilt hit her, the elders had been brave warriors once and done all they could to serve the clan, they had earned the right to be looked after and she knew she couldn't refuse them. A small sigh exited from her vocals as she stood and began to follow quietly after Nightpaw.

Somwhere beyond happiness and sadness I need to calculate what creates my own madness.
Burnstar watched as Nightpaw heaved himself from his nest, as if it took a large amount of effort to even move. He sighed heavily, watching the apprentice leave, and then looked at Scriptpaw. She was still curled up. He was about to go and prod her awake when her tail uncurled and she looked up at him. With a weary, tired smile, he watched her leave and then padded out of the den, his topaz eyes following the two apprentices.

Before exiting the den Scriptpaw paused and turned her head to look back over her shoulder at her leader. A small smile formed on her lips and she dipped her head before continueing to pad out of the apprentice den after Nightpaw. ((so short O.o))

Grovepaw entered the camp with a mouthful of prey. He had two rabbits and a couple of mice. He was hoping that he wouldn't be in too much trouble for going out by himself. He just needed a break. He saw Scriptpaw going to the elder's den.
"Do you need fresh kill for them?" He shoutted to her.

As Scriptpaw was making her way towards the elder's den she was deep in thought, perhaps feeling a little regretful about how she had treatd Burnstar. She was startled back into reality when she heard a voice from across camp. Her fur stood slightly on end until she saw it was another apprentice, "Erm...yes." she was surprised with herself, she was strangely talkative today.

He bounded across to her. "Here take your pic. He dropped the prey he had just caught. He could see something was bothering here. "Is everything alright?" His tail flicked uncomfortably as he saw Nightpaw.
((Nightpaw can gorvepaw and you be rivals??))

Scriptpaw let her body relax and her heartbeat slowed back to its normal rythmic pace, "Thanks," she gave the tom a small half smile and pulled a rabbit over in her claws while listening to his question. She sighed being unsure of she wanted to share her troubles while so many cats were around and sfter all she didn't know this tom,"Well, I.." she sighed, "I just feel so guilty." She looked down in time to see the uncomfortable flick of his tail but said nothing while scuffling her paws on the hard earth beneath thier paws.

((Sure...why not. NightPaw doesn't really talk to anyone much anyways...)) Nightpaw twitched as he saw Grovepaw coming up and got some prey for the Elders. Oh great StarClan, not him again. He thought to himself as he was about to get to the prey pile and get some rabbits or some rats for the Elders. Sometimes one of the Elders tell them stories but he wasn't too fond about the stories and sometimes being next Grovepaw cause he was either trying to get into trouble or being annoying. Also he hates being called rouge cause he was originally a rouge and Grovepaw apparently calls him rouge all the time, it's annoying. The tom just grabbed a different rabbit that the other apprentice didn't get. [/blockquote]

Grovepaw looked at her. "There is no need to be guilty. Every once and a while I do thinbgs like forget about the elder's too and even trat them rudley." He was guessing that was what was making herfeel so guilty. He flashed a look over at NightPaw. "rogue..." he hissed under his breathe. "I even do other things that cause me to be guilty..." Like fighting all the time and eatting on hunting patrols...

Scriptpaw looked up at him breifly before speaking quietly, "I know, it's just that they've done all they can for the clan and who am I to refuse to help them? And...," she trailed off for a moment, "I haven't treated Burnstar as I should lately." that may be the one thing she felt most guilty about. Her optics widened slightly at the hostility between the two toms and her tail flicked nervously hoping they wouldn't start a scuffle right now, they really had enough work to do right now.

After NightPaw gave some of the mentors some rabbit, he really didn't needed to listen to Scriptpaw's and Grovepaw's little conversation of feeling guilty so he just walked outside of the main camp and went off to hunt. [/blockquote][/color] ((OOC: Cruddy post))

Grovepaw whipped his tail rudely at Nightpaw as he passed. "Burnstar... everyone seems to be like that. Everyone wants to argue or treat him badly... now a days. I have been rude too." He meowed. He thought of how he acted when he was asked to change bedding. "Maybe it's because he hasn't taken any apprentices to the gathering for a while..." He trailed of thoughtfully.

Scriptpaw watched Nightpaw go by wishing that she had something to say to make him feel better...even a little. The dark pelted tom seemed agrivated and she guessed it was because of having to care for the elders and the fact that he didn't seem to get along well with Grovepaw. Never the less she listen carefully to what Grovepaw had to say, "I don't even know why I did it," there was a small pause where she seemed quiet warn out and tired, giving a little sigh she continued, "He hasn't done anything to me to deserve being disobeyed by me." Her gaze drifted thoughtfully before she added a bit hesitantly, "What's with you and Nightpaw? Do you not get along for some reason?" The she-cat had felt the tension and knew she might hit a nerve by asking, but her curiosity sometimes got the better of her.

Grovepaw's tail flicked as she mentioned Nightpaw. "I don't trust him." His eyes grew into slits and his ear's pulled back. "I don't trust him because he is a rogue. He was born a rogue. And he was brought here by loners. I think he is just a spy who acts like a clan cat." He let out an angry hiss.
