name xx; Burnheart [star]
gender xx; Tom.
clan xx; WindClan.
rank xx; Leader.
description xx; Let's start from the beginning. Burnheart is a well built, muscular tom. His face is sculpted nicely, with a strong jaw and a dished head; given the way he's made, he looks a bit arrogant; his chest if deep, for endurance, and he has broad shoulders. His legs are lithe but strong, his paws heavily clad with thorn-sharp claws. He has a long, slender tail that gives him even balance. Now for the coloring; Burnheart's fur ripples a deep shade of russet, and when the sun catches it, it's almost bronze. Darker stripes of red, nearly black, line his sides and around his eyes, accenting the fiery golden color of his eyes. His chest holds a splash of frosty white, and his front left leg has a large sock of white on it.
picture xx; Coming soon, if that's alright. ^^
personality xx; Burnheart is a rather honorable cat, though has multiple sides to him. Let's explore the first side. Burnheart has a temper as hot as his name implies, but only rears it's ugly head every now and then. Only when his clan, friends, family, or himself is insulted will you find yourself in line of fire of his wrath. Not many have seen the rough side of his tongue, though it is possible, so don't let your guard down.
Now to the other side. Burnheart has a soft side, saves for kits, family, and those he cares about alone. Burnheart is all for chivalry, of dying to protect the ones he loves. This, of course, includes his whole clan. But the chivalry comes on stronger when his friends, family, or loved one comes into the picture of 'danger'.
And next, the careful side. Burnheart isn't afraid to get into a fight, nor to challenge another for something he has proof of, or that he has the evidence to declare. However, when it comes to uncertain situations, you can always expect dear Burnheart to be the one to caution everyone. After all, you never know, right?
And, for the final side, we learn about the proud side. Burnheart is extremely proud, though not in a bad way- he's proud of his friends, family, clan. Of course, with this pride comes the slight arrogance that is almost always piggybacked with it. Burnheart is merely a tad arrogant, hoping to make his clan the best and the strongest. But that's beside the point; Burnheart, despite his good and his bad, only wants to his help his clan in any way he can.
history xx; Burnheart grew up in WindClan, an eager and over-excited apprentice. He was always full of energy, no matter what his mentor had him do, and was a tad hard to control at times. But as Burnheart grew, he learned discipline and control, never really needing to be punished after his first few moons of apprenticeship. Oh, sure, he snuck out a few times when he was an apprentice (who wouldn't?) but he was that often in trouble. As Burnheart grew, he experience sadness, happiness, and love, all at once.
When Burnheart was given his warrior name, he was extremely proud of himself. He knew that his life was going to be good, and soon he fell in love with a lovely she-cat named Silverheart. The problem was that Silverheart was blind. Though that couldn't really seperate them, it was rather dangerous for Silverheart to be traveling by herself. When Burnheart had recieved news that Silverheart had gone off on her own, he knew that something had to be wrong. He followed her scent to where hers matched up with a dog, and then panicked. Her scent ended at the Thunderpath, suddenly cut off with the stench of monsters. Burnheart knew that he would never see his beloved Silverheart again.
And yet, he moved on. With a heavy heart, Burnheart continued his duties diligently and with everything but happiness and eagerness, his heart having been shattered at the death of Silverheart. Unluckily, not soon afterward, his mother and father, Skyfeather and Foxclaw, passed away due to the greencough sickness. With all these tragedies in one short period of time, it was surprising that he was ever going to carry on. But he did, and has continued since.
ic xx; The day dawned dark, cold, and bleak. Jasper wasn't too surprised- it was just how Forks was. Cold, bleak, dark, bleak, and cold. With a soft sigh, Jasper moved away from the window and walked out of his room, thoughts slowly churning through his mind. He had mixed emotions about Edward being married to Bella- he had nothing against the girl, nothing at all. And, she'd be much less of a danger to his... Control when she was a vampire. Much easier to handle.
But there was always the off-chance that Edward would change his mind and not change Bella, wanting her to live out her years as a human. Of course, Jasper knew that Edward would never turn back on his word- especially not with Bella. No, she was much to precious to Edward that he would risk losing her. All this thought about love and mushy jazz made Jasper think about Alice. His Alice- the quirky vampire that had caught his heart in her elegant hands.
With another sigh, Jasper slipped down the stairs silently. The house was quiet. As a steady sheet of rain began to fall. Jasper flopped onto the couch lazily and leaned his head against the back of it, closing his topaz eyes for just a moment. Still burning in the back of his mind was the memories of his mass-destructive past, the one where he damned so many people- people who were to become something they didn't know even existed, only to realize that they were going to be used and then disposed of as soon as they were no longer needed. Jasper's body froze and his eyes flew open, the first real emotion of the morning flitting through his eyes- scarred sadness, and then nothing but the smoldering depths of his butterscotch eyes.
Jasper brushed a few stubborn strands of blond hair from his face and pondered a few more things. He knew that Alice was totally for Bella and Edward's marriage, and that she was the main planner of it all. Rosalie really didn't like the idea, and Emmett was... Well, Emmett. Big like a bear and ready for Bella to become part of the family. And what of Carlisle and Esme? Well, to be truthful, Jasper was positive that they had always considered Bella family, so that meant that she had pretty much been a pre-ordered package.
With these thoughts churning and swirling through his mind, Jasper wasn't sure about himself. What irony, he thought with a slight chuckle. He, the vampire that controlled emotion, wasn't sure about his own feelings. But, one could suppose that Jasper had a right to feel a loss of self-confidence. After all, he was still the weakest link in their family, the one that had the hardest time controlling himself when around humans that were bleeding. It was just so hard for him- after his past, and all of that feeding he had done, it was as if the instinct had lodged into his soul. But he was still working at it- with the haunting memory of his bloody instinct sitting somewhere in the house, Jasper wasn't so sure of himself.
He didn't really remember when he had first seen Alicia. He didn't even know her last name- that much was too hard for him to get out of her. The traumatized teenager was the reminder of what he was capable of, of what he had done so long ago in the south. Jasper struggled to find the memory of when he had changed Alicia, heard her blood pulsing underneath her skin, of when he approached her silently and without her knowing, and when he had sunk his teeth into her neck, without warning, allowing her to fall to the ground in his surprise and shock. With the image still faltering, Jasper could see himself stumbling backward, horrified at what he had done, and watching as the girl writhed in pain on the ground, going into what Edward called eternal damnation.
Jasper flinched as the memory resurfaced. He hadn't meant to do those things, and he hadn't meant to change her, but again there was that damn instinct that told him to feed. He had felt ashamed, hidden away in the woods for days without telling his family why or where he was. And he had stayed out of reach, though eventually he would have had to be found, because Edward or Alice would have been able to. So, instead, Jasper came back by his own free will, without being told or forced to.
And now here he was. Jasper finally realized why his confidence level had gone down so drastically- he had finally found the monster within himself, the monster that fed off of humans and was a vicious, heartless beast. At least Alice made him feel like he belonged, like his was special. No one else in the world could do that, and that's what made her so special to him.
