Rosesong walked into the little nursery. Her eyes full of sorrow, she hadn't seen her kits in a long time. She looked around the nursery for them. Her heart heavy as a tear rolled down her cheek. She hadn't seen her mate either. She looked up at the ceiling towards Silverpelt. Why have you given me this burden? What am I to do with your big prophecy that you have to take away my mate and my kits?! Tears streamed down her face. She was tired of hiding her emotions. She missed her sisters, she missed Musekit ever since he had left with her sisters and Stipedfoot, she hadn't seen him. She callapsed into a heaving ball of tears. Sobs shook her entire body.

ooc: umm... cats can't cry...(but it's kind the whole part of your post so I guess they can for now ^^)
How cruel is the Golden Rule?
Vaporwind was heading to check in on the cats in the nursery when he heard sobbing coming from his destination. He advanced from a pace to a trot and hurried himself over to the den. Slowing as he approached, he entered the enclosure. Rosesong lay on the floor of the den in a heap of fur and tears, shaking with sadness. Sympathy glistened in his ice blue eyes for the deputy. She had so much on her shoulders. He could relate. And sometimes the only thing left to do is to give in to everything and let yourself hit rock-bottom before you can start to pull your problems apart from their jumbled, tangled mess.
When the lives we lived were only golden plated?
The blue-pointed tom padded slowly and quietly into the nursery before resting his tail across the shoulders of the broken cat gently. He then settled himself down next to the queen and cooed soft clicks and purrs to try to calm her. He licked away a few of her tears from her matted paw fur and brushed her cheek with his tail-tip. The Medicine Cat saw his clan-mate's teary eyes and quietly hushed her trying to relieve her crying, purrs still emitting from his core.
And I knew that the lights of the city were too heavy for me.
"Calm down now. Calm down." he mewed soothingly to her. "It's okay. It'll be okay. It's all going to work out. Don't worry yourself now." he hushed her slowing his breathing to try to influence hers to do the same.
Though I carried karats for everyone to see.

Rosesong slowly hushed. She knew that Vaporwind was trying to help her, but it embarassed her that someone had seen her crying. After all she was the ShadowClan Deputy, and deputies don't cry! Warriors don't cry! She held back the rest of her tears and just laid there. She wasn't ready to move. Just the comforting warmth that came from Vaporwind's pelt reassured her that she wasn't alone. She looked up at the ceiling of the nursery, she wished she could see Stormwind, but he always seemed away-distant. She sighed, that was it she needed to get rid of her burden, and she felt she could trust Vaporwind. With a soft hushed tone her small voice sounded, "Vaporwind...." she started, "I have been hiding a huge secret from the Clan. These kits are mine....Sorrelpaw....Skippaw...Musepaw...they were all mine....." Her eyes started to cloud again. "And....now their all gone....."Without speaking another word she barried her face in the toms fur to silence herself. He didn't need to know, after all he wouldn't care, other than the fact that she had vialated the warrior code by becomeing deputy. She waited to see what her clanmate would do.

And I saw God cry in the reflection of my enemies.
The medicine cat wasn't startled by the deputy's words, yet her attack into his chest fur. Fluffy cream fur became damp and pressed as the queen rubbed into him for comfort. He took a deep breath; the tortie cat's head rose and fell with his inhale and exhale as he fought to keep himself under control with such strong bursts of emotion emitting from a cat so near to him. Composed, he gave the fur in between her ears a few soft, slow, calming licks.
And all the lovers with no time for me.
"No sweetie they're not gone. No, no. Far from it. Your kits are still in your clan. They are by your side everyday. You will hunt with them, train with them; As deputy you'll be accessing them when it is time for them to join the warriors. And when that time comes you'll even be sleeping in the same den!" He pulled back and looked he in the eyes. "Sweetheart, you haven't lost your kits. They are growing up beside you. But it's up to you, It's up to you, to remember, to know, and to love your kits from the point of view of you being the clan's deputy and your kits are kits that will one day be warriors, the next generation of this clan, and they need to love this clan and follow the warrior code so they don't go through this pain that you now have to endure.
And all of the mothers raise their babies,
"Rules are made for your benefit hun. They only protect you from pain. But now, for breaking a rule, you must live with whatever pain you receive because you broke that rule. There is nothing you can do about that. But you also have to live with the fact that your kits are growing up beside you and to the best of your knowledge, as deputy you have no kits beside the clan, and the best of theirs, they have no parents beside the clan. It is up to you to be important in their lives. The deputy is a very important cat to a clan. Well respected, well loved." The blue-pointed cat gave her a swift lick on the top of her head. "You'll get through it hun. You're a strong cat. I'm not saying life is going to be easy. But you'll et through it."
to stay away from me...

Rosesong listened gravely and then bowed her head into his chest. Her mind serching for words to say, but nothing came to mind. She just sat there and basked in the comfort that Vaporwind gave her. Something about him seemed to calm her. And she decieded that she would continue to stay there until she could think of something else.
